Our Walk-In Clinic is staffed by a licensed Audiology Assistant at our Kirksville location. Our patients who utilize hearing aids may visit during our walk-in clinic hours and we will help you as soon as possible. Although you may come in at any time during our walk-in hours, we do recommend you call ahead to request an appointment to reduce your wait time when you do come in.

Walk-In Clinic Services

  • Hearing aid cleaning
  • Instruction on cleaning, insertion and removal of aids, changing batteries, and other general maintenance
  • Troubleshooting of non-functional hearing aids
  • Replacement of filters, tubing, and simple mechanical parts of hearing aids
  • Purchase and pick-up of supplies (domes, filters, dri-aid jars, batteries, etc.)
  • Renewal of hearing aid warranty
  • Pick-up of custom made products, such as custom earmolds, as advised by your audiologist

Some services require more detailed attention and cannot be completed without an appointment. If you don’t see the service you need listed above, please give a call to schedule your appointment. Some services we offer which are NOT available as a walk-in include:

  • Hearing aid programming and adjustments
  • Hearing tests
  • Earmold impressions and custom earmolds, including modifications or changes to custom earmolds
  • Consultation of new hearing aids or devices
  • Fitting of new equipment or devices
  • Fitting of loaner equipment or devices
  • Programming, adjustments or troubleshooting of cochlear implants or BAHA devices
